Destination wedding in Spain

Destination weddings in Spain

The photographers we would
actually book ourselves

A short list of Spanish wedding photographers with real awards, a real backlog, and reportages you can look at end to end without wincing. If you are flying in from London, Berlin, New York or Paris to get married here, this is the page you wanted to find.

Most wedding photography directories in Spain are pay to play. You fill in a form, someone forwards it to fifteen photographers, and you spend the next week on the phone with people who barely speak English and quote whatever the day looks like. That is not what this is.

We keep the list short on purpose. Every photographer here has been shooting weddings in Spain for at least eight years, has award recognition from Fearless, MyWed, WPJA or ISPWP, and knows what to do when the light goes hard at 14:00 in August. They speak English. They send you a real quote in a real PDF. And they will tell you honestly whether your date is free before we introduce anyone.

Below are the destinations we cover. If yours is not listed, it is because we have not found the right photographer for it yet, not because we would not.

How this works

What actually happens when you write to us

You send us your date, your destination, and whatever you have decided about the venue. We check who is free that day. Usually two or three photographers, sometimes only one, occasionally none, because Spanish wedding photographers book out twelve to fourteen months ahead and we would rather tell you than pretend.

You get an email from us with the reportages, the awards, the day rate, and what is included. No forms, no login, no upsells. If you want to book someone, you deal with them directly from then on. If our shortlist is not what you wanted, we say so and we do not push it.

We do not charge couples for the shortlist. Photographers pay us a flat referral fee if you actually book them, which is why we have every incentive to send you the right person and not the one paying most this month.

Style pillar

Mediterranean wedding photography

If you are getting married on a Spanish coast or on an island, the photographers you want understand a specific palette, coastal light, and outdoor ceremony logistics. We wrote a piece on what mediterranean wedding photography actually is, and how to spot the difference between someone who lives in it and someone who is copying the look from Pinterest.
